The Name Game
Jackpotjoy loves adding a quiz element to their live games, and The Name Game is all about testing your pop culture and celebrity knowledge. During the December event, a volunteer was chosen from the Joy Bingo room to play this segment of the show. Within 60 seconds, the player had to guess as many correct answers as possible as host Barney read out ten descriptions of famous people. Within the given time limit, the contestant answered six questions correctly, earning a total of £12.
Blank It to Win It
If you’re a music buff, you might enjoy Blank It to Win It. It’s a straightforward game: Jackpotjoy presents song lyrics with missing keywords or blanks, and home viewers are tasked with guessing the correct missing word. When played on the live show, players commented their answers on Facebook and in the Joy Bingo chat room. One winner was selected from the Facebook comments for each question, whereas two winners were chosen from the chat room. The Winning Minute is also a highlight of Blank It to Win It. As soon as the klaxon goes off during the game, you’ll have 60 seconds to enter ‘make me a winner’ in the chat or Facebook comments section, and stand a chance to win an additional cash bonus.
Out of Bounds
Out of Bounds features a live caller element, as well as an opportunity for viewers to win themselves some cash at home. General knowledge skills are important in this game. Three participants were picked from the chat room to compete live, with each person given a minute to answer as many general knowledge questions as possible from a pool of ten. A prize fund of £2 was awarded to contestants for every question answered correctly. After completing the rapid-fire round, the callers were presented with a chance to take a risk and enter the Drop Zone. This allowed them to wager their earnings and potentially earn a greater reward!
The Drop Zone
With the Drop Zone, the Jackpotjoy host drops balls into the top of a board. As the balls descend, they come into contact with pins that can either assist or hinder their trajectory. Players have a chance to win a cash prize or lose everything when the balls land either on the cash prize slot or the undesirable “out of bounds” area. Every participant will have three attempts, giving them three opportunities to win. During the December Cash Call event, all three live callers were a brave lot, choosing to gamble their winnings and take on the Drop Zone! Each of the three players won, with the first place taking home £20, and the second and third place taking home £10 each.
Stack It
During the Out of Bounds board segment, you and other viewers at home were given four questions to answer in the special birthday edition of Stack It. If most players in the chat or on Facebook got the right answer to a question, up to five winners from each platform were selected to be part of the potential winners for the Stack It final question. This is where things got really exciting!
In total, fifteen lucky winners were chosen to move on to the final round, where they had the chance to win a fantastic £20 in cash each!
